There are 337 properties scheduled to go under the hammer in Sydney this weekend, according to Australian Property Monitors.

The inner west remains the most popular with 66 properties scheduled auctions including five houses and four units in Camperdown in the inner west.

The inner west recorded the best regional result with price growth over the year ending June 2013 with the median house price increasing by 11.4%.

Agents, buyers and vendors will be watching to see if Sydney can achieved four consecutive weekends with the preliminary result at 80% or higher.

Sydney managed a preliminary auction clearance rate of 80.8% last weekend, according to Australian Property Monitors (APM), the third consecutive week of an 80% plus preliminary clearance rate.

Last week Property Observer asked readers if Sydney could make it three weeks in a row. Around 60% said it would not, but they were proved wrong with a preliminary clearance rate of 80.8% recorded.

There is now a poll for this weekend's results.
