Brisbane median house prices September quarter 2011: A suburb-by-suburb guide

Larry SchlesingerDecember 8, 2020

Median house prices in Brisbane’s 132 suburbs declined by 1.7% over the September quarter, according to the Real Estate Institute of Queensland, falling from $440,000 to $427,500 over the three-month period.

For the 12 months to September 2011, house prices are down 4.3%, falling from a median of $460,000 in September 2010.

Due to the varying quality of stock and the varying quantity of new stock sold, there have been extreme fluctuations, with some suburbs recording  increases of more than 10% (including Ashgrove, Enoggera, McDowall) and others declining as much as 30% (Paddington).
