The former Wallabies player Brendan Cannon has joined the CBRE Capital Markets team in Brisbane.

Brendan Cannon is a former development manager at Charter Hall.

Cannon joins the metropolitan investments team in an associate director position.

He had been a general manager role with telecommunications group Digicel.

Cannon played for the Australian Rugby Union team from 2001 to 2007, earning 42 caps for the Wallabies.

Cannon has also played professional rugby for the Queensland Reds, New South Wales Waratahs and Western Force in the Super 12 and Super 14 competitions.

CBRE director, capital markets, Flint Davidson said Cannon’s appointment would bolster the team’s already strong presence in the Brisbane market.
