Aquila to open 27th Australian store on Little Collins Street

Aquila Shoes has secured retail space on Little Collins Street, Melbourne, which will be its 27th Australian store.

It has leased a 150-square -metre store for a six-year term. The lease was negotiated by Savills Australia  state retail director Michael Di Carlo.

The lessor is a private Asian investor.

The gross annual rent that shoe manufacturer and distributor will pay is about $300,000 for the shop at 264-274 Little Collins Street.

The Melbourne brand was founded by Tony Longo in 1958.

It now employs the third generation of the family.
