One of Adelaide's oldest family companies, J & AG Johnston, has listed the Galbraith vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.

The vineyard has been listed through winebrokers Gaetjens Langley.

The 23 hectare vineyard overlooks the town of Oakbank and the local racecourse.

It was established in 1993.

William and Janet Johnston migrated from Campbelltown, Scotland to South Australia in 1839, when the British colony was two years old.

They arrived with their daughter and five of six sons and, like many early settlers, became farmers.
