The Old Trading Store is a corner convenience store that has been a part of Tasmania for the past century.

Located at 1 Saltwater River Road, Premaydena, the family who have owned the store for nine years is asking for $595,000 plus stock at valuation.

The 220 square metre store has 10 car spaces and is on a 1104 square metre block.

It also has its own gas pump.

It is situated along the heart of the northern side of the Tasman Peninsula.

This building was originally constructed around 1900 and many of its period features are still visible.

The current owners have invested in a 30KVA generator wired to the store and residence in the case of power outages.

According to the owners, the store was re-roofed roughly 24 months ago along with a plumbing upgrade.

The holding also contains three bedrooms and one bathroom.

It is an 80 minute drive from Hobart.

The property last sold in 2009 for $300,000.
