Enmore's Tara guest house listed for sale

Tara, an inner west grand Victorian Italianate manor at Enmore, has been listed for sale.

The 1880 Edgeware Road house was built for music teacher Mrs Ryan.

It was named Tara in memory of a sight in Dublin which has been a sacred place for the Kings of Ireland for millennia. 

For the last nine years Tara has been a guest house rated by trip advisor as their top bed and breakfast in Sydney for 95% of this period.

It has enjoyed similar accolades in the British Guardian Newspaper, Lonely Planet, Louis Vuitton’s Travel Guide and a number of prestigious travel magazines.

A sweeping staircase leads up to four oversized bedrooms, with high ceilings, marble fireplaces, enjoying either a leafy outlook across the verandah and front lawns, or sweeping district views.

Additional accommodation includes a self-contained studio/ sixth bedroom with private independent access via Francis Street.
