A boutique Prahran retail space of 50 square metres, opposite the $60 million Cato Square urban park development, has been sold for $505,000, reflecting $10,100 per square metre.

Shop 2 at 119 Izett Street, Prahran was sold to a local investor.

Fitzroys agent James Lockwood said its new owner intends to hold the property as an investment and potentially occupy in the future.

Cato Square development is currently under construction, transforming a car park site in almost 10,000 square metres of urban parkland and underground parking.
