Hewlett Packard sites listed in Sydney and Melbourne

Hewlett Packard's Rhodes campus in Sydney and Forest Hill campus in Melbourne have been listed for sale, as the leading computer maker looks to cash in on valuable real estate.

At the 3.43ha Rhodes site, HPE is seeking to partner with an Australian developer to rezone the property and improve the site's development potential and value.

Overall, the two sites could be worth $180 million, according to the Australian Financial Review.

The Rhodes property, situated at 410 Concord Road, currently has a B7 Business Park zoning and very limited site coverage, with HPE’s headquarters totaling just 18,000sqm (representing just one-third of the site).

In Melbourne, HPE's 5.7ha site at 353-383 Burwood Highway (picture above) is being offered for an outright sale.

The zoning already allows for a mixed-use development.

However, the group will also seek to take a partial leaseback over the existing office building on the site, which has a net lettable area of 9,523 sqm.

HP has appointed CBRE to market the sites.

Offers close November 30.
