A development site in Sydney’s Inner West suburb of Burwood is set to go under the hammer on October 14.

The 4 George Street site has an area of 266 sqm and is in a mixed use Development Zone and a maximum building height of 70 metres.

The prime location means there are good growth prospects, particularly with the continued private and government investment in Burwood, says its description.

The site is a stone’s throw from Burwood train station.

It also benefits from its proximity to schools and shopping centres.

The site changed hands in 2011 for $580,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.

The listing agent is Giampaolo Iarossi of Zoom Real Estate.
