Tasmanian shopping centre fetches $38.55 million: Savills

A shopping centre in the riverside city of Launceston in Tasmania has been sold through Savills for $38.55 million.

The off-market transaction for Mowbray Marketplace & Target Centre adds to Savills’ recent track record of more than $128 million worth of Tasmanian retail investment deals. 

The sub-regional shopping centre is anchored by Woolworths and Target, in addition to 16 other shops.

It has a total lettable area of more than 12,000 sqm.

The selling agent was Pat De Maria.
