Chelsea corner property hits the market

A corner freehold property with three street frontages in Melbourne’s south-east suburb of Chelsea has been listed for sale.

Located at 318-320 Station Street on the corner of Chelsea Road, the property is opposite the Chelsea railway station in the heart of the commercial/retail precinct and is expected to fetch more than $2 million.

The property comprises a two level, 938 square metre commercial building recently occupied as a child’s play centre, on an 808 square metre site. The property also includes a corner retail shop.

The property is zoned Commercial 1, with 26 metres frontage to Station Street, 30 metres to Chelsea Road and additional frontage to Chelsea Lane at the rear.

According to marketing agents, Teska Carson’s Matthew Feld and Larry Takis and Moss Property’s, James Moss, Commercial 1 the property is on the market for the first time in 25 years and would be sold subject to two short term leases, currently returning $46,380 per annum.
