A Darlinghurst, Sydney island site with a with four street frontages is on the market for the first time in 24 years.

The property, 256 Crown Street, Darlinghurst, has the potential for 40 residential units.

It is on the market through expressions of interest closing March 22.

It is a block bounded by Crown Street, Kells Lane, Foley Street and Langley Street.

The listing states the site is 'governed by extremely favourable planning controls for re-development including a 5:1 FSR and B4 Mixed Use Zoning."

Agents Gemma Isgro, Michael Khouri and Nicholas Heaton of CBRE have the listing.

This asset will demand a lot of interest from a wide and varied group of buyers, including investors; developers both locally and off-shore” Ms. Isgro said.
