The local industrial economic situation in Tasmania and Victoria is reported to be flat, according to Herron Todd White’s (HTW) latest monthly market report.

The property advisory firm says that the volume of property sales have been steady with the exception of Gippsland, which is declining, and Ballarat which is improving.

The volume of property sales is increasing in Ballarat, while the rental vacancy trend is steady. HTW remark that the local economic conditions are for steady growth.

Overall there is a mixture of a balanced market and some regions that are experiencing an oversupply of industrial properties.

This is despite the rental vacancy trend reported to be steady throughout the Tasmanian and Victorian regions.
