A commercial freehold building in the heart of Sydney CBD has been brought to the market by CBRE.

Located at 296 George Street, the building is opposite Wynyard Station with its corner position well suited to a retail business.

The ground and first two levels are for lease while the basement level is occupied by Lee's Malaysian Restaurant (includes adjoining 300 George Street strata lot).

The building’s land area is about 82 sqm.

Julian Choo and Tim Grosmann of CBRE are looking after the sales campaign.

The property last exchanged hands in 2013 for $5.8 million though it was listed for $6 million, according to RP Data. It spent 169 days on the market then. The vendor was Advance Bank of Australia.
