Sydney's Alexandria Hotel sold to Merivale

Sydney's Alexandria Hotel has been sold off-market to Justin Hemmes' Merivale Group for $10 million.

The Alexandria Hotel sits on a 913sqm corner site was slated for development until community objection forced the owners to sell the hotel with JLL appointed.

Merivale will restore the venue.

JLL’s national director of investment sales John Musca said the locals have really missed their hotel and famous beer garden.

We also take this opportunity to congratulate the purchasers, Merivale, with this exciting acquisition and look forward to their plans for the hotel.” he said.
