Vicinity Centres and ISPT’s first joint venture in New South Wales to redevelop the Warriewood Square Shopping Centre in northern Sydney is complete, with the refurbished complex opening on Thursday.

The $87 million makeover added around 8,000 square metres of retail space, while also upgrading the existing centre.

In all, there are 110 speciality stores and kiosks at the shopping complex, including a new Aldi, an upgraded Woolworths and a redesigned Kmart.

“We are proud to offer the Northern Beaches community a new destination for vibrant fashion, fresh food, dining options and a place to meet friends and family,” said Jon Savell, Vicinity Centres director of development.

ISPT’s general manager, Retail Services, Sam Curry, said: “We’re proud to unveil features including a Vicinity Kids Play at the Square zone with a unique beach-theme, new parents’ rooms and upgraded amenities.”
