Australian student accomodation top 10 providers: Savills Research
Since the start of 2015, Blue Sky, Goldman Sachs, Scape and Valparaiso and Student One have all entered the student accomodation market and have rapidly established pipelines, according to the latest research by Savills International.
Blue Sky have 2,632, Goldman Sachs, Scape and Valparaiso have 2,459 and Student One have 2,394.
The top 10 providers currently own a total of 15,498 beds and the pipeline of 14,205 white equates to circa 92% of the existing supply indicative of the strong focus on development during 2015.
The research advised average size of the owned operational properties is 337 beds and the average size of development properties in the pipeline is 530 beds.
Iglu, Urbanest and Valparaiso are owner / managers, with a total of 7,344 beds in operations and pipeline, this duplication distorts the total numbers in the table.
