BP service station in NSW's Scone scoops $4.6 million at Burgess Rawson auction

A BP petrol station at Scone in NSW's Hunter region sold for $4.6 million at a recent Burgess Rawson auction. 

The 26 Kelly Street, Scone service station/convenience store with 4,224 sqm land holding was built in 2010.

There is a 10-year lease in place from March 2010 with further options until 2030.

The selling agents were Simon Staddon and Stephen Lovison.

The tenant pays all outgoings, as per lease and net income is $348,576 pa + GST.

The service station sold on a 7.6 per cent yield to a Sydney landbanking family, according to a report in the Australian Financial Review.
