Commercial auctions fell in week ending April 22: CoreLogic RP Data

Preliminary results show a 52.9 percent clearance rate across 17 commercial auctions over the week ending 22 April 2016, a fall in both auction volumes (38) and the clearance rate (71.1 percent) when compared to the previous week, according to latest CoreLogic RP Data.

At the same time last year, 49 commercial auctions were reported and the clearance rate was significantly higher, at 81.6 per cent. Across the commercial auction market, activity has been somewhat subdued over the past four weeks, with just 103 auctions held and 65 sales. Of the 65 sales, 48 have been reported with a sale price, totalling just more than $88.9 million.
