DA approved South Brisbane residential site comes to market

A South Brisbane site with 304 apartments designed by the award-winning Cottee Parker have been launched.

Positioned on a 2,021sqm site at 15-19 Brereton Street, the DA approved elevated site is being marketed through Brendan Hogan and Pat George of Colliers International and Blake Goddard and Elliot O’Shea of JLL via an international expression of interest campaign closing April 20.

The development has mostly two-bedroom apartments, communal facilities as well as podium parking allowing for significant cost savings.

“We expect to receive significant interest from both offshore and onshore developers as currently there are very limited opportunities of DA approved sites available in the area that enable immediate commencement of pre-sales and construction of the development," said Hogan.

Goddard of JLL added that “South Brisbane is a transforming residential hub with entertainment venues, leisure precincts and over 275 restaurants, cafes and bars all within close proximity. It is just over 1km from the Brisbane CBD and well connected by rail, bus and ferry services".
