Commercial auction quiet period officially ends: CoreLogic RP Data

Over the week ending 26 February 2016, 66 commercial auctions were reported, rising sharply from 14 over the previous week signifying that the traditionally quiet period for commercial auctions has come to an end.

Last week, the clearance rate was 47.6 percent, compared to 50 percent the previous week. At the same time last year, 85 commercial auctions were reported with a success rate of 62.4 percent.

The most recent four week period shows a total of 88 auction results with 42 sales. Of these 42 sales, 31 have been reported with a sale price, totalling just over $95 million.
