Travel Agency, Classic Mooloolaba, has agreed terms on a new lease in Melbourne’s CBD in a deal negotiated by Savills Australia.

Located next to Coles Central, the Shop 5, 2-26 Elizabeth Street property comprises a 19square metre tenancy leased on a three year term with options at a rental in excess of $8600 per annum gross.  

According to Savills Australia Retail Executive, Jock Thomson, who brokered the deal with colleague Michael Di Carlo, the tenant, required a modern CBD premises with excellent exposure.

Mr Thomson said the deal represented great value for both the owner, Fivex Pty Ltd, and the tenant, which will have the opportunity to increase its trade through the enormous foot traffic and exceptional exposure to Elizabeth Street.  

"The location, on the eastern side of Elizabeth Street, between Flinders Street and Flinders Lane is one of the busiest sections of any street in Melbourne, catching both commuters and tourists through its proximity to Flinders Street Station.

"This is an ideal location for this type of business,’’ Mr Thomson said.
