A 2,300 square metre retail premise sitting next to the site for Western Australia’s first Aldi store in Perth’s Champion Lakes has been snapped up by a private investor for $1.05 million.

The 125 Westfield Drive site comprises a freestanding property occupied by Champion Lakes Car Wash and Chicken Treat, securely leased until 2022 and 2019 respectively.

Champion Lakes is nearly 30 kilometres south-east of the Perth CBD.

The deal was brokered by CBRE’s Michael Milne and Richard Cash.

“Situated adjacent and in front of the Champion Lakes Shopping Centre, this property will benefit from the centre’s major refurbishment and expansion, which will include the state’s first Aldi supermarket, opening in June this year,” Milne said.
