Nelson Meers sells shop top housing development site in Burwood

A prime 1,180 square metre Burwood development site has sold.
The 79-81 Liverpool Road site fetched $3.3 million.
The property was sold through CBRE's Nick Tuxworth on behalf of Nelson Meers Hotel Group to a local private developer for a residential development, as shop top housing.
“We are happy with the result after the property initially passed in at auction with three bidders after not reaching the price the vendor wanted,” Tuxworth said.
He said both local and Chinese developers showed interest in the property.
It traded at $630,000 in 1993 and at $1.98 million in 2007.
