A substantial block of vacant land within the Coolum Beach industrial estate on the Sunshine Coast has been sold at auction by Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North.

The 2,010 sqm site at 72-74 Link Crescent, Coolum Beach, was sold to a local businessman for $296,000.

Ray White Commercial Noosa and Sunshine Coast agent Tracey Ryan secured the price on behalf of a deceased estate.

Ms Ryan said there were 10 registered bidders at the auction following strong interest in the marketing campaign for the block, which was fully fenced and included hardstand.

“All bidders were local including several who already owned sites in the estate,” she said.

"Bidding came down to a battle between two buyers bidding in $1,000 increments before the property was sold under the hammer for $296,000.”

Ms Ryan said the Coolum Industrial Estate is a rapidly expanding precinct comprising 147 lots, including small to medium core industrial sites plus the new state government large format blocks.

“The estate is conveniently located within easy access to the Sunshine Motorway and David Low Way via Yandina-Coolum Road and is located approximately 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.”
