Demand for ACT commercial property on the rise: Colliers International

Demand for private sector office space rental within the Canberra market is high around the sub, 1,000 square metre market, with tenant representatives, digital media and telecommunications driving demand.

Colliers International director of government services, office services, Michael Ceacis said these ACT sectors all seem to have exposure to the inevitable growth in the Commonwealth Government.

"Whilst the Canberra market appears focused on attracting large tenants, who are largely the Commonwealth, he is witnessing significant activity in the sub 1,000sq m leasing market," Mr Ceacis said.
