The historic Sorrento guesthouse Whitehall, near the back beach on the Mornington Peninsula, has been listed for sale.
The 1904 wide-verandaed mansion with iron-lacework has been offered by agent Lloyd Robinson from RT Edgar.
The limestone Whitehall was built as one of the grand guesthouses of its day in Edwardian grandeur.
The Herald Sun report buyers are being told it will most likely fetch under $5 million.
The Carlton Football Club held three pre-season camps at the guesthouse, until 2011 when the club headed to a high-altitude academy in Doha.
