Offers were due this week for the Woori Yallock vineyard estate of the Yarra Valley vigneron Stephen Shelmerdine and his wife Kate.
They are part of the Myer family.
The Victorian-style home at 210 Lusatia Park Road in Woori Yallock is on a 33-hectare property.
Phillip French at Sotheby's International had initial price expectations above $1.6 million for the five bedroom homestead with valley and mountain vistas.
It has been leased for seven years. The family company bought it in 1998 for $1,025,000.
They tried to sell it in 2010 and 2011 with $2.25 million hopes.
