The historic Vue Grand hotel in Queenscliff remains listed through James Gladman of Fletchers .

It is tipped to attract interest between $4 million to $4.5 million, a price range unaltered over the past four years.

The 32-guest bedroom property was built in 1881.

The hotel, with conference rooms and a rooftop bar, captures views to the Sorrento ferry.

The 1950-square-metre Hesse Street block could continue as a boutique hotel but it is also being marketed for its residential development potential.

There is planning permit in place for a four-level extension on the current manager's residence site, providing additional accommodation, a day spa, further conference facilities, a lounge and bar.
