A new Hungry Jacks property, north of Adelaide, has sold at auction for $3.5 million to a local private investor.

The Savills sale reflected a 5.4% yield.

The Playford Alive town centre property has a building area of 184 square metre on its 1,971 square metre site.

There is a 10-year lease from June 2014 with three further five-year options.

The property sold through Peter Isaksson and Rino Carpinelli of Savills South Australia on behalf of Adelaide-based developer GIC Australia Pty Ltd.

Playford Alive is 30 kilometres north of the Adelaide CBD, one of Australia’s most significant urban renewal projects.
