Loc8 relocates to Richmond from South Yarra: JLL

The IT and facilities company Loc8.com is relocating from their Claremont Street, South Yarra premises to a new Richmond location.

Loc8 is moved to 132 Gwynne Street, Richmond offices, a location that for many decades housed the Rosella Preserving Company and has some character features. It is located off Balmain Street.

JLL’s director of office leasing Michael Simonds, who negotiated a new five year lease for the property, said that it allows for a “unique and unrivalled” opportunity.

“There was no vacancy in this space, and in excess of 30 enquiries without even offering it publically,” said Simonds.

It shows that the tenant market is continuing staff retention by rewarding employees with a different workspace,” he said.

The rental amount remains undisclosed, although is understood to be around $350 per square metre net of outgoings and car parking.
