St George bank closes Cootamundra branch

St George Bank has announced the closure of its branch at Cootamundra.
It continues the recent revived trend of bank closures headed by ANZ.
The ANZ intends to close seven more branches, which will take the total closures to 19 over recent months.
Most of the latest seven are in regional centres, including Healesville in Victoria and Tamour in New South Wales.
