National retailer The Reject Shop has secured a seven year lease in a new retail development in Melbourne's Hastings.

The retailer has taken up 700 square metres, on a rental of $240,000 per annum. The deal is over seven years, with two further seven year terms.

The Hastings development is due to open in April and is being anchored by Aldi. It will house eight shops plus the supermarket.

Fitzroys agent Chris Kombi negotiated the lease.
