Bellamack, the Darwin semi-rural Palmerston district suburb, tops the latest list of 32 regional localities in South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania with the highest rental yields for houses, according to information provided by RP Data.

The Property Observer list covers all states and territories outside the big three, NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

Western Australia localities top the list, with 14 suburbs with high rental yields.

Tasmania is second with 11 high rental yield suburbs.

South Australia comes in third place with five localities.

Northern Territory has two localties, but tops the list with yields above 14%.

There are none from the Australian Capital Territory.
