Dayleford’s iconic Chocolate Mill has been listed for sale with an asking price of $1,295,000.

The two-bedroom residence has been bundled with the award-winning chocolate business, which has received reviews from Getaway, Postcards, Gourmet Traveller and Country Style.

The residence is worth $850,000 and the business worth $445,000.

Located seven kilometres north for Daylesford, the residence is split across two levels.

The ground floor of the main building plays host to the manufacturing kitchen and the retail shop as well as a café, second kitchen, staffroom and a workshop.

The top floor is a private residence with two bedrooms, a large kitchen with timber bench tops, an open-plan living/dining area and a four-metre high curved wood ceiling.

The Chocolate Mill trades seven days per week and has 15 fully trained staff.

A four-week training period will be provided to the new owners with an option to extend.
