Transport group ACFS to lease 15,000-square-metre Melbourne warehouse at $800,000 per annum

Australian-owned transport and logistics firm Australian Container Freight Services (ACFS) will pay $800,000 per annum net to lease an office/warehouse property at Tottenham in Melbourne’s western industrial precinct in a deal  negotiated by Savills Australia.

The 33-65 Paramount Road property comprises a 15,150-square-metre office/warehouse facility with a huge canopy, three recessed loading docks and a large concrete hardstand area.

The short-term leas deal was brokered by Savills industrial agents Greg Jensz  and Tim Casanelia.

"The facility will give the firm room to move as it manages its expansion in the nation’s transport and logistics capital. The location – five kilometres from Melbourne's port with excellent access to major arterials via Sunshine Road – was also a key consideration,’’ says Jensz.

ACFS will move from its current home at Port Melbourne.

 The lessor is a private Geelong-based investor.
