Kathy Lette, author of Puberty Blues, has expressed hope there may be a second series of the Channel 10 series set in the 1970s in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney.

It was her 1979 novel that was the basis for a highly successful TV series portraying Australian beachside culture in the 1970s.

The eight-episode ratings hit concluded this week. A second series would show the continuing relationship between Debbie Vickers, Susie Knight and the Greenhills Gang.

Meanwhile, take a look at the homes found by Property Observer that are still living in the '70s. They could be used as a likely locations if the recently sold Cronulla house used as the Vickers home location gets modernised by its recent buyers.
