Rents are expected to rise the most in the resources state of Western Australia over the next year, according to NAB's June Residential Property Survey.

With a 5% increase tipped by the 300 industry participants in the survey, WA is tipped to secure double the rest of the country.  The other major resources state Queensland is its nearest rival for rent increases.

Expectations for Victorian landlords to secure any rental growth ought remain in the negative for the next year, according to the respondents.
