The per annum net rent that US-based cleaning chemicals and equipment manufacturer Clorox will pay to lease a modern 260-square-metre space office at Doncaster East in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The company has agreed to terms on a new five-year lease at the 11/857 Doncaster Road property. Savills Australia’s Daniel Kelly, who negotiated the deal in conjunction with Doug Francis from TM Real Estate, says Clorox required a modern office space within close proximity of its current home. The lessor is a Melbourne-based private investor.

 


The amount Melbourne industrial rents have grown over third quarter of 2011 compared with a year ago, according to the latest research by CBRE. A square metre of warehouse space in Melbourne now costs about $82 per annum.


 

The amount of space that boutique women’s fashion retailer Angels will lease the Islander Resort complex at Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast. Angels has taken out a long term lease of Shop 20 at 187 Gympie Terrace in a deal negotiated by David Brinkley of Ray White Commercial Noosa. Angels has secured a three-year lease with an option to renew a further three times. The shop is owned by a local investor. The gross rent on the property is estimated by market sources to be approximately $44,000 per annum.

 


 

The gross rent per square metre that Blumont Laminating Group will pay to lease the 376-square-metre Unit 6, 372 Eastern Valley Way in Parramatta from Charter Hall. The lease term is four years and was negotiated on behalf of the lessor by Brad Sutton from Sutton Anderson.

 


 

The amount of space that furniture and bedding retailer Super A-Mart will lease at a distribution facility at Somerton in Melbourne’s north. Located at 83-89 Freight Drive, is owned by deli meats producer the Bertocchi family. The deal was negotiated by CBRE agent Dean Hunt at an effective rate of $65?per square?metre?net plus GST.

 


 

The gross rent per square metre that Monaco Compensation Lawyers will pay to lease a 274-square-metre office on level five at 75 Elizabeth Street in the Sydney CBD. The lessor is a financial services organisation. The lease term is seven years, plus a three-year option with the deal negotiated by Louise Rowe from Knight Frank.
