NSW discounted property on SQM's list gets even deeper discount
The price of a property in the rural NSW suburb of Gosford West that has appeared on SQM Research's Top 10 Most Discounted Properties list since early June has been slashed again.
The property at 3 Boolari Road, Gosford West originally went on the market on July 8, 2009 with an asking price of $990,000. It appeared on SQM director Louis Christopher's most discounted properties list on June 1, 2011, and its asking price had dropped to $650,000, a 34% reduction in price during its 682 days on the market.
The price expectation for the 10-hectare property is now $580,000 a 41% discount from the original asking price. Gosford City Council has expressed interest in buying nine hectares of undeveloped land for $75,000.
