ASICS opens Oceania headquarters in Sydney's Marsden Park

Sportswear company ASICS has now opened its Oceania headquarters at the 256-hectare Sydney Business Park in Marsden Park.

Constructed on a 57,000 square metre site, the new ASICS Oceania headquarters comprises: 24,960sqm warehouse and distribution centre, a 4,000sqm office including conferencing, gymnasium and internal Japanese inspired garden, a 1,500sqm retail factory outlet and a 4,500sqm private multi-use sports playing field.

Designed by Reid Campbell, SBA, Siren Design and London-based WDC Design, the buildings incorporate modern retail interiors, and office space.

The building was constructed by Richard Crookes and Renascent.

A wide range of sustainability measures were incorporated including photo-voltaic solar electricity.

To celebrate the launch, ASICS Oceania's Managing Director, Mark Brunton and ASICS Director, Hukoto Nakano were joined by employees, retailers, business partners, Sydney Business Park representatives, Blacktown City Council representatives and ASICS athletes Cooper Cronk, Sam Stosur, Caitlin Bassett, Brandon Starc and Kurtley Beale.

ASICS Oceania Managing Director, Mark Brunton said the company was “absolutely thrilled to have opened its new Oceania headquarters at Marsden Park. The office, warehouse and retail space allows for future growth and greater operating efficiency, enabling us to better service our retail partners and customers across Australia."

Sydney Business Park is home to other major companies such as ALDI, Axalta Coating Systems, Bunnings, Costco, Dulux, IKEA, Lindt, Linfox and Toll.
