Two South Melbourne Clarendon Centre shops leased

Two shops in the South Melbourne Clarendon Centre have been successfully leased, a restaurant and a medical centre.

Max Tsang of Mahjong, on St Kilda’s Fitzroy Street, has leased the 39 sqm space within the Clarendon Centre in South Melbourne, for his new dining venture Miss China.

Fitzroys Associate Director, James Lockwood negotiated the six-year lease for the corner shop at G08, 265 Clarendon Street (pictured above) at $65,000 per annum, equating to $1,666 per sqm.

Another deal Lockwood has secured in the Clarendon Centre was to a new medical centre another on the ground floor opposite Coles supermarket.

Lockwood negotiated the eight-year deal at $150,000 per annum with CityMed Medical Centre.

A doctor and practice manager, also with existing operations in St Kilda, will be opening their own centre with up to six practitioners.

Lockwood is also currently marketing a first floor space for lease, G20, targeting medical services such as dentists and allied health to complement the new GP clinic.

the Clarendon Centre leases were handled on behalf of Clarendon Property Group.
