July RBA meeting rate cut not expected, but August looks likely

The latest Bloomberg survey has 25 of 28 economist seeing no change at the July RBA meeting on Tuesday.

But 15 of the economists expect the August RBA meeting will cut the cash rate from 2.75% to 2.5%.

Many do not then see any further decline or increase for the next few quarters.
