Westpac scraps $600 home loan establishment fee

Westpac has announced a two year introductory variable rate discount on both owner-occupier and investor loans.

Offering a 49 basis point two year discount, it puts the variable rate at 4.34%, before converting to 4.83% after the two year discount period (4.88% comparison rate). 

Brendan Collogan, head of marketing for Westpac Home Ownership told Broker News Westpac has also abolished the $600 establishment fee on all new Flexi First Option home and investment property loans.

This special offer is only available on new Flexi First Option Home Loan and Flexi First Option Investment Loans. 

It cannot be taken in conjunction with, or in addition to other special offers, negotiated rates or discounts. Not available to company and trust account holders.
