Reserve Bank holds rates for March

The Reserve Bank of Australia has kept the official cash rate on hold this month.

The official cash rate remains at its record low of 2.25%, after a 25 basis point cut last month.

The majority of experts surveyed by comparison website Finder, including NAB's Alan Oster, anticipated that the Reserve Bank would announce that rates would not change this month.
