CUA appoints Rob Goudswaard as chief executive

Credit Union Australia (CUA), the country's largest customer-owned financial institution, has appointed banker Rob Goudswaard as its chief executive officer from February 2015.

He will take over from Chris Whitehead who has led CUA since 2009.

He has worked in various senior executive positions at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group including work overseas as ANZ's head for the Solomon Islands and in Oman for ANZ Grindlays Bank.
