Melbourne had five weekend apartment sales under $275,000 at weekend auction.

The cheapest was $200,500 at Malvern East, according to the REIV.

The 3/780 Warrigal Road property was being quoted as set to sell for $200,000 plus through Woodards.

It was an unrenovated one bedroom apartment offered under executor instructions. 

The next cheapest was 2/28 Codrington Street, Cranbourne which sold at $220,000.

The price guidance was $200,000 plus.

Student accomodation at 104/51 Rathdowne Street, Carlton fetched $236,500.

Dingle Partners advised it was presently returning $14,300pa, reflecting six percent gross rental yield.
