An Upper Coomera, Qld mortgagee townhouse has sold following an unsuccessful auction campaign.

The three bedroom two bathroom property sold for $340,000 a $59,000 reduction on it's 2010 sale price of $399,000.

Glenn Batten of First National Real Estate held the listing.

Situated at 3/12 Gumtree Crescent, the circa 2010 built townhouse features a single car lockup garage.

Set on 156 sqm, the property set across two storeys was listed for $360,000.

Located minutes from both shopping options and schools the home is within 600 metres of the Upper Coomera State College.

The property was listed for rent through 2010 to 2014. During these years it was listed at $390 pw until mid 2012 where the asking rental price was reduced to $350 pw.

However in 2014 it was listed for rent at $450 pw.

The median price for a home in Upper Coomera is $486,250 according to CoreLogic, which calculate its annual change in median price over the past 10 years as -0.5%.
