Units the cheapest in Hobart: CoreLogic

Hobart is the cheapest capital to purchase a unit, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that units in Hobart have a median price of $287,000.

This is followed by Adelaide with $307,000 and Brisbane with $380,000.

Sydney and Melbourne take the top spot as the most expensive locality to purchase units with a median price of $720,000 and $529,000 respectively.

A two bedroom unit at 2/441 Oceana Drive, Howrah (above) has been listed for over $290,000.

Built in 1987 the property was last sold in 1997 for $82,000.

A three bedroom unit at 4/8 Clarence Crescent, Rokeby (below) has been listed for $275,000 plus.
